Hosted Service launch combines deployment cost reduction with accelerated business efficiencies

Simplicity of new service offering lets customers dramatically reduce hardware, maintenance, training and operational charges but roll out policies faster.

PolicyMatter Ltd, the market leading policy management software house, today launched its new PolicyMatter Hosted Service. The Hosted Service allows customers to experience the full range of PolicyMatter benefits, but utilises the PolicyMatter team’s expertise to avoid the costs and resources sometimes required to get policy communication initiatives up and running.

Two variations of the service are available. The pure Hosted Service provides access to a full PolicyMatter system and allows policy administrators to communicate documents such as procedures and guidelines to staff, whilst also having full access to reporting information. Customers pay a set-up charge and an annual subscription based on the number of users to whom policies will be communicated, but avoid any costs for hardware or maintenance.

The Hosted and Managed Service works on a similar basis of set-up and subscription charges, but includes provision for using PolicyMatter expertise in policy rollouts. For example, customers may first agree a rollout schedule with the PolicyMatter project team, who then take on responsibility for a range of services such as importing policies, assigning them to user groups, publishing them to the appropriate audience, and then generating management information on policy agreement and understanding.

PolicyMatter expects to see demand for the Hosted Service from a number of customer sections. “We’ve got customers with key policy initiatives and obligations but who are already at full stretch on other tasks,” explained PolicyMatter Managing Director Chris Heslop. “For them the Hosted and Managed Services are a godsend. They don’t need to worry about equipment, resources or getting trained. We do it all for them, and it means they can meet their policy communication targets much faster and at much reduced costs.”
