PolicyMatter and Blue Coat have teamed up to deliver an effective solution against the long running issue of Internet misuse by internal staff. While PolicyMatter software ensures employees read, agree and sign up to key policies, Blue Coat’s proxy appliances allow customers to take those policies, implement real controls and report on access to confirm that policies are being implemented.

Integrating the two solutions allows customers to make policies more effective than ever before. Working together, PolicyMatter and Blue Coat ensure employees are only allowed Internet access when they have signed up to the relevant policy and proved they understand it. If Blue Coat then detects a policy breach, such as an attempt to access a banned site, it alerts PolicyMatter to re-present policy and prevent Internet access until the user is fully up-to-date again.
